Problems with importing mods from nmm to Vortex. How to?

Hi,

I decided to switch from nexusmm to vortex for Skyrim. I used the importing function but it didn't work on many mods. Especially the "unassigned" category mods from nexus are missing in vortex. Most plugins are missing too. How can I do it manually? Where do i have to put the active mods in vortex? Is there something like the virtuall install folder from Nexusmm? And I can't drop about 400 mods just like that in vortex. Where is the main mod folder to where I can put them all?

So I have 3 problems: Not working import-function (missing mods+plugins)
Location for active mods unknown
Location of main mod folder (where the droped mods are stored) unknown
I hope you can help me.

When importing from NMM, Vortex only carries over the zipped archives. Due to how buggy NMM is, it's unreliable to copy over anything else.

If the mods were not imported, this would suggest you have deleted the zip file for that mod (or NMM "forgot" which file it came from).

To do the import manually you'll just want to move the files from the NMM download folder to your Vortex download folder.
