Please remove the CS streaming ads

Having static ads is one thing but now the site has these annoying CS videos that aren't blocked by adblock. There is a reason for using that app. It means we want to browse mods in peace without distracting elements in the background, and it should be up to each user if they want to see ads or not. People will stop visiting the site if it becomes too annoying, and go for other alternatives, me included. I just got myself a more powerful adblock that blocks out ALL ads on the site, and it won't come off until the video ads are removed. The greedy ad company that has taken over the nexus won't win.

I hate to sound blunt, but you should complain to whoever makes your adblocker in this case. We do not have any direct control of the adverts show and simply allow our advertising partners to use the spaces on the website to add their own banners (or in the bottom-right there is a video ad).

I can only assume the latest wave of adverts are using a new implementation method that isn't recognised by some adblockers - but this is the problem. For sites that rely on advertising revenue, using an adblocker denies that site the payment for showing the ad which (in most cases) pays to keep the site itself online. As time goes on there's an arms race between ad blockers and ad creators.

We have had the option for many years now that if you purchase any membership from us, we'll remove all of these ads on the site for that account.
