I got for the most part the Quest working however whenever i kill the NPC the Quest marker stays on the dead npc despite i killed him. How do you make it so the quest marker goes to a different NPC The quest giver telling the player to go to that npc after he's finished killing the other NPC. The Quest works after i kill all the NPCs i report back to the quest giver and the quest can be completed with a dialogue option. However i'm just trying to get rid of the quest markers off of dead npcs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Radioactivelad Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 You need to complete the objective that's pointing to your dead npc with Setobjectivecompleted. Then you need to add another objective pointing to the quest giver with Setobjectivedisplayed. The most sensible way to do that would be as Madmongo suggested: have the Dead NPC's death advance the quest to a new stage, and have the above Objective related functions in the Result Script for that Stage.
