I'm a skyrim modder at day and a composer by night !
I have a youtube channel with various machinemas from all kinds of games and soundtrack compositions, i intend to cover the skyrim theme aswell but want to make it special . .
Do you guys want another "Metal" cover or maybe a hybrid with electronic ? Here's my channel with all my covers and music styles, i will be happy to hear your opinions !

I think electronic stuff would be cooler since there are already many metal covers in Youtube, or in Nexusmods website.
Too loud, no other enthusiasm besides just melody themselves. In my opinion, of course.
well, I don't hate metal music, I like them. but there were too many metal covers that were sugar-coated.
But, I see your music work sounds more enthusiastic than any other covers in Youtube.

I used to be a musician myself, just so you know, or at least I wanted to be. T_T. learned piano over 4 years, unofficial(?) Korean traditional music instrument class for about 3 years, and...... ahem... xD

Anyway, I nearly fell in love with your music. i really did. and still do.

I subscribed your channel. And keep up the fascinating work!

That's great work man. Just goes to show you what talented people can do without having to go through the corporate executive treadmill. I've always wanted to play the guitar but have been ham stringed by being left handed and other equally useless excuses for my procrastination.

I did try my hand at being a male model. It worked out pretty well until the food stamps gave out.   Now I'm driving a truck, playing games and entertaining myself with bubble wrap. Oh, the life of a dreamer!

Immpressive work, i'm listening to your halo track and if you wanted to a skyrim one then this style would be perfect. Personally I think throwing electronic sounds for a game like skyrim could unintentionally make it cheesy, but relying too much on the metal side makes it cheesy too judging by other videos i've seen (and I love metal!). You seem to have taken the time and effort to get a good balance and it sounds really good

You could even try to mimic the lute for some of the song, i've not seen this combined with a metal cover before

Oh i really liked the lute i idea . . . i mean i tried doing dubstep although my specialty is orchestra rock (such as halo) and i came up with this

Mind you it doesn't sound like dubstep at all more like rock chillstep, so there are elements in my music that i really can't ignore . . so if i really decided to do it electronic it would be far from traditional . .
But i actually heared alot of requests for an electronic version since there are so many "metal" covers, but as you said there are way too many "Cheesy" covers of it allready, and i'm never satisfied with just the basic construct of a metal band (2 guitars bass and drums) but i have to back it up with everything i can . . Like my transformers cover and Halo cover . . what do you guys say ?

Dubstep isn't my scene either to be honest, (and over here dance music is shoved down your throat the minute you switch the TV on) but i've known it to be quite catchy when used like this and you have pulled it off very well.

Personally I would prefer the dance theme to be toned down compared to this, I would like for you to do a similar melody for the some bits though.

You guys have no idea because some people asked me to use floppy drives . . i was all like "Yeah right . . " . . well search for it on youtube . . Skyrim theme floppy . . you'd be amazed !

Yes, it's one of those miracles of the modern age... People get this notion that abrupt, grinding, disharmonious sounds which are usually related to mechanical failure are musical. And then there is music from floppy drives.
