My version of the game doesn't support most mods? (1.0.5.9)

Tutorials say all I have to do is import and play, I followed all the steps and some mods even work. It's just 90% of them are different versions. Any help?

What mods? There aren't that many. Also, is there a special reason you don't have the latest version (1.5)?

I open up frosty and I put battlefront 2 in it but when I try to Select it. it shows this...
