Download speed keeps dropping to 0 b/s

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to download a few mods for New Vegas, but my download speed keeps going up to around 150 kb/s for a moment, then continually drops down to 0 b/s and goes up again after around 10 seconds. Any idea what might cause this issue? My connection isn't the best, but it's never this bad and outside of Vortex my connection works fine

If you're on an unstable connection it may be best to download mods manually and import them into Vortex afterwards.
