Bait4dragons
Hyas...Was looking at using a Monster protector mod to deal with the Powdergangers in Goodsprings... but if it kills all the powder gangers, and then several saves later I uninstall the monster .. ~~~ WILL THE POWDER GANGERS COME BACK TO LIFE? hyuk, hyuk... I tried "player.placeatme 11324a" ..across the street from the house where Cobb loiters...then i coc'd away .. and in short order Cobb engaged and got barbecued.. but when i went to the Saloon feeling proud of myself, I was not happy that Trudy KNEW THAT I WAS RESPONSIBLE!! So, that other protector monster for Goodsprings sounds nice...but if you remove the ugly thing after it cleans up Goodsprings, will the Powdergangers come back to life? Thanks,,,Bait4dragons
Druuler
If I remember correctly, the Powdergangers in Goodsprings are not set to respawn, so no, they should not come back to life. Also, regarding your being blamed for Cobb's death, that is a flaw with the game. That is one of the situations that an NPC is designed to be killed only by the player and/or the player's allies. Therefore, any time said NPC dies, the blame is put squarely on your shoulders, guilty or not. There is a similar situation in FO3 with the Slavers. If the slavers at the entrance die by any means, the rest of them are automatically hostile towards the player. I found that out while running a zombie apocalypse mod.... HadToRegister
Also, removing a mod in the middle of a playthrough will trash your game, because scripts will get orphaned
