billyro
I'm stuck at round 750kbps, but the upload rate is fantastic, still wish i had higher speeds. Limitations of dsl, Bell. Can't really complain though unlimited bandwidth is nice.Hell yeah. I'd rather 300Kbps unlimited download than 2MBps with only 10GB.
Thor.
There is always sacrifices, but its not a really bad one, at least its fast enough to do everything efficiently like streaming and stuff.I'm really hoping for google fiber, i'll certainly jump ship if they come knocking on my door. billyro
I dunno what the internet types are (I'm the sort of person who is stupid when it comes to hardware) but the words Google and Fiber together sound nice. Yeah. Oh well, I guess I'm pretty right with one game per month. If I ever get more PC games, I'll install it via the disk. Now, I just have to hope I don't need the internet badly until next month. Edited March 16, 2013 by billyro
Thor.
I installed every game on steam so far, it nearly took a month to finish lol, half a terabyte from steam. The biggest game was batman Arkham city, 20gb in size  . Edited March 16, 2013 by Thor.
RitualBlack
I too am at 750kb/s. 1mb/s isn't too common for me to get (normally only really late at night). I am with Bell also, though I am pretty sure my upload speed is terrible. Max Payne 3 was the bane of my dsl existance... 29GB ;D A game like Binding of Issac is very bandwidth friendly. I have over 100hrs on it and the game is under 310mb.
Vagrant0
If filesizes and downloads are an issue, usually you're better off with indie games, or ones which don't have "fancy" graphics. A good portion of actual game size is directly related to how many textures are present in the game and how highly detailed they are. Less graphical games usually have much smaller file sizes. I would of course suggest avoiding TF2. It's a good game, but the nearly daily updates would kill your bandwidth.
