Plus a xbox wont become so slow or infected with a virus as a computer might. plus computer are expensive and my computer just plain sucks. However the pricey-ness of <A TITLE="Click for more information about computers" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||computers|AA1VDw">computers</A> isnt so bad anymore, computers can do alot more then xboxs can, and if you play xbox on computer you can always have the fun of playing with mods or using TES. what do you think? The great thing about the pc is that it is up gradeable so that it is not slow and the graphics can turn out to be 10X better than xbox... yes it may be expensive but concole will never compare to pc because of the upgrading ability. They are not just for playing games, you can use them for making games, word processing, making music, accounting, etc, etc, etc. Even if you were to forget all that, and compare them purely as games machines, a typical modern PC would blow the Xbox completely out of the water. It has more CPU, better graphics, better sound, faster loading times and the games can be larger, more immersive and more complex. The only thing an Xbox has over a PC is price. However, a PC has upgradability, so, end of 2005/beginning of 2006, to keep up to date to play the latest games in consoles, you are going to have to go out and buy a whole new console, whereas, in PCs, you might have to simply upgrade your PC a bit. If you even have a decent comp then you have better graphics, more speed, and the most important thing is the editor. Sure you can use easier cheats on the box. But who needs to cheat really. I dont. There is no question that the PC version is better for many reasons but not everyone has the luxury of sufficient time on a powerful enough computer. For those I understand the xbox version is good enough. I will not lock the thread, though another moderator might be less forgiving, because there are already several replies. Switch Posted July 21, 2004 Share Posted July 21, 2004 Indeed... As has been said before, PC version has the CS and the Console. Personally, I think that makes it far superior. The graphics pretty much match that of the XBox as well, it just may not be quite as speedy. I can understand if someone is low on budget or just have a very cr@ppy computer and can't be bothered to get better that an XBox would be best, though. Needless to say though if anything goes wrong with a game on it, and something WILL go wrong eventually with Morrowind, you either have to have a ton of back up saves to revert to just in case or completely restart every time.
