JadeMoontail Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Edit - A more superior mod has been on the store for a while https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49757 sorry for not editing for a while here - I am working on making it so the player can change into this from a human start now So a while back I have taken over the Playable Deathclaw player mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20595?tab=posts&BH=1 and will be doing it in a new submission as a new starting point So far the plan is Remove the replacement of female player at the start of the game and require player action to become a deathclaw (Ideally a hard to craft chem and an easy way using a Holotape) Use face presets to choose the Muzzle types. eyes and horn types - As well as the different skin types as already shown in the player mod (Will have to do some merging and editing of the Xarna mod to get the proper assets) Somehow mod it that once a player changes into the deathclaw all human clothing items (Save for a few that will have no issues fitting) and have a special workbench that allows for these items to be converted to fit the new body Once I can get these basics made I can release a first version, issue is I have no clue how to do most of it. I am pretty good at troubleshooting and getting broken mods to work or at least find out why they wont work, I can even modify most in game outfits to fit the Deathclaw player - Right now what I need help with some of the more technical aspects, such as getting the looksmenu stuff work, programming a chem and holotape to cause the transformation and to get it all in a stable installer to make it easier to work on and edit whats in it - If anyone wants to help you can suggest ideas and link to tutorials here - Anyone who helps on this will get their name mentioned on the mod page - Or if you want a more hands on approach I do have a Discord, Just PM me to ask for it, only open for discussion on this mod Also if you have anything you would like to see in this mod please say so here! Even the above comment indicates a new mod, using his mods assets, is the intent. Really it is all I need to know, this kinda thing is important though as asset permission and ownership are not the same thing.
