Smeel
Okay, here's the deal. I'm rather annoyed that the supposed capital of the Empire is no more than a stone fortress. As in Rome, (since they Empire in TES lore at least in Morrowind where modeled after the Roman Empire), had great slums, maybe someone could make the whole Island around the walls filled with streets and wood houses. A lot of quests and maybe some fuilds could be fitted in there, like thieves guids, and mafia-like gangs, as in ancient rome. Another thing I missed from Morrowind was that the Imperial army looked like the roman one. I would love to have the old legionaries back. I'm not saying that I want historical roman armor in Oblivion, I would like Roman-isnpired armor in Oblivion. Well, at least that what I would like. I haven't modded with oblivion, but as a consept artist I could contribute something. Anyone who agrees with me?
TotallyNotToastyFresh
Well, I agree with you on your first paragraph, but not your second. I'm quite fond of the Legion armor as it is.

Smeel
Make it five then, Toasty Fresh ;) just kidding, I might have to learn some Oblivion modding then. But the roman armor might stil lbe a dream, I suck at modelling and texturing :/

burb
i'd love to see it. Unfortunately, the modding tendacnies for Oblivion seem to be even more lore-strict than in Morrowind. Strange seeing as Morrowind is far more fantastical, what with the flying, the alien vegetation, etc. There are several outstanding Legio Romana mods for Morrowind. I'm working on a little Roman Mod but it sucks, so I wouldn't get excited about it at all.
