About Me:
Started (non-professional) Voice Acting when I was 12, spent 5 years at Columbia College as an actor/improviser. Studied accents and dialects for two years. Used to go to bars and convince people I was off-the-boat Irish to get free drinks. (It worked. A lot.) The equipment I have at my disposal is NOT professional quality, but it IS decent. If I could go to a studio and record for free, I would. Also, I feel I should add, I do not charge for my voice over work here. This is strictly for fun.

I am listening to some of theses demos and wishing I was good at modding just so I could use a lot of you. That sounded dirtier than I anticipated, but yeah, you know what I mean.

 

This is an awesome thread and if by some miracle of life I do become a true modder, I know I am coming here to try and snatch up some of you guys and gals for my project(s)!

Ah, ok, I've been wondering where this thread has gone to....

 

I am currently seeking 3 voice actors.

 

It's not much work. I just need 10 - 20 lines at most per voice type. All I need are the wav files, I can handle lip sync file generation and all that other stuff.

 

The voice types:

 

1) young male, snobbish.

2) young female, snobbish (high elf, so British or Australian accent if you can).

3) gruffy male, deep voice, annoyed (think the orc voices in the default game).

 

If you are interested, please record a sample of the following line...

 

"I don't want to talk to you. Go bother someone else."

 

..then upload it to a free file host (or whatever method you want to use to get the file to me).

Just to post I found a voice actor for my new mod on here. It is an invaluable resource. I will be needing a female voice for at least one mod and perhaps two. I hope to find them here as well, it is a fantastic resource.

Put together a demo reel the other day, using both new and old material. All voices and music by me. Apologies in advance for the gum-smacking sounds...I drink a lot of milk, and I just recently discovered that dairy and recording voice-overs do not go hand in hand. >.<
