dpguitar
I have been having a pretty good run with a current run-through but Ive had various camera issues. The one that's stopped me happens when I'm knocked down during battle. I'm inside a small room, and when my character gets knocked down, it comes into like a 3rd person floating view - then when the character gets up, the camera doesn't go back. I've had to change camera settings to fix other camera problems before, I am at a loss now. Any help is appreciated!
Oblivionaddicted
What do you mean by "knocked down"?Do you use a player resurrecting mod?
Pellape
I do not know if this might solve any camera issues, but I do use camera mods, to prevent getting seasick by all swaggering in 3rd person and it works great for me. I use 2 different at my 2 computers and both do a nice job. ChaseCameraMod Nehrim Third Person Camera FixI loaded the last one in CS, removed the need of Nehrim and saved it and it works great without Nehrim. Why I use 2 different at each computer was a mistake but a nice mistake. ;) Maybe one of them are able to solve this issue?? Oblivionaddicted: You can get knocked down and you can knock down enemies as well. A master Marksman as one example are able to knock down enemies. I do use 2 different mods that changes the ragdoll and also gravity, and the knockdown timer is set to 10s in one of them, which you edit in the ini. dpguitar: Maybe they can fix your issue as well? As bodies do tend to fly away without those mods, which might cause your problems? I do have a shrine in my house that knocks you out when you use it, a dark shrine and before I used those 2 mods, I could be thrown all over the place with nasty effects but now I fall exact where I am, down at that very spot I am standing at, all natural. lz - Realistic Gravity Realistic Ragdolls and Force v3I also saw another version that coverts the skeletons, which could be used at any skeleton, specially those with wings and other stuff attached, so this one is made to be compatible with odd skeletons and it is even used on deers in UOP Realistic Ragdolls Skeleton Converter
dpguitar
What do you mean by "knocked down"?Do you use a player resurrecting mod?I'm referring to when the player character is hit and falls to the ground. I think it's a result of a hard hit or empty stamina. It's hard to tell because of how the camera goes out of wack after it happens. I'm going to try both of these, one at the time until it's straightened out. I have the a mod that allows be to resize hud elements too, it seems to resize to normal when I reload the game. Do you think that is related to the camera mod as well? Also, I assume I should keep the oblivion reloaded ini back to default but camera =0? That fixed the earlier issues? DrakeTheDragon
We definitely could use your mod list. This usually happens when using a mod with so-called fake 1st person view or similar, which requires all animations to be replaced with ones working in said view, and then even a single unreplaced/unfitting animation playing will offset the camera permanently. There's other causes as well, of course, but to spot these we still need to know the mods you're using which could be causing this.
