Malchik
There is a TG mission to get some brandy but it is also a House Hlaalu quest that you can do whether or not you are a member of House Hlaalu. Look in the mansions area of the upper town.
Switch
Also the guy in there is dead no matter whether you do any quests or not. You just have to unlock the place and clear it out, then take up residence. There is one NPC still alive in there but she's always hiding in a tiny bedroom and won't notice you stealing anything. _it_
that house where that guy got killed and nine toes got framed for itis that a thieves guild mission? i didn't exactly finish their guild missions. i 'accidentally' :shifty: went on a murderous rampage and mistakenly killed several of their members. needless to say they refuse to speak to me now. even after bribing one of them to 100%. anyway... where is that house? no its a side quest and later a mission if iam correct u need to speak to the woman inside the house where u have to steal the vintage brandy for ajira she gives u a discription later in the hlaalu missions u need to find that same guy and kill him the house is on the n-e direction insde balmora (with the entrance of balmora as west) next to one of the towers it has a large open ground floor a king sized bed only the bedroom needs some cleaning

Untouchable1
the house is on the n-e direction insde balmora (with the entrance of balmora as west) next to one of the towers no, its in the northwest part of town, directly across from the door of Nalcyra the alchemists house. but the door to the manor is facing west. (w/e he's probly already found it by now)
Akominatus
The "Home Sweet Home" mod provides the most elegant and least unbalancing residence. Located in Balmora, lots of space without getting ridiculous, nicely laid out, no extra items provided, lots of storage space. My only gripe is the lack of weapons racks. Mercbird
Tripping over Raalen's corpse everytime you come down the stairs became a bit ...annoying especially as I couldnt find anything big enough to drop on him.I somehow remember some quest where you have to get the guy in Nerano Manor(next door) to take back the rumours he's spreading after wich I teased him and killed him et voila no corpse.Think its redoran
Malchik
As Switch has already pointed out if you are playing on PC you can get rid of the corpse through the console. Open console, position cursor over corpse, left click on the mouse, type in the word 'disable' and press enter. Close the console - no corpse. Way to tidy up messy propylon chambers too. VG_King
Well, now since I have completed all the Raven Rock quests, I now have my own estate up at the Southern Shores of Solstheim. It's quite big inside and looks cool.I put all my artifacts (ones that I would rather not part with, those that are from main quests, or others I can't sell to the museum) on some shelves that used to hold nothing. I also put all my papers and books from main quests on varioius shelves across from the ones that hold the artifacts along with the Proplyn Indexs I have come across.
