aragonit Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 I used a potion of 'philter of the phantom' (000663e1) by adding it through the console, I fast traveled immediately after drinking it and then entered the cave I traveled to. Additionally I used TES5Edit to fix all files shown by LOOT as having dirty edits. That fixed it. At least for now (crossing fingers), for about 1 hour of playing. PlayaCharacter Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Sorry to necro the thread, but I just fixed this problem. The mod Lost Grimoire of Skyrim adds a power called Debug: Clear Fx. Using that power clears the invisible character effect. The mod doesn't add any active scripts, so if you don't want to keep the mod installed it should be safe to install it, use the effect, then uninstall it. It is a very good spell mod, though.
