I have made my load order optimal according to FWE and have essentially set my self up just how it says to on the FAQ there, even made my own merged patch. No idea on what it could be, I am thinking it's the project beauty textures/meshes but I am really not sure how I would FIX it at this point... lots of mods to rearrange and sift through. Please help I will be refreshing constantly to get some help. I just downloaded the GOTY edition and would love to get this rolling again. P.S. "I am having large ! signs on only npcs while I playthrough" I don't use FWE or Project Beauty but, based on the missing meshes on NPC's, it's possible your problem lies with Project Beauty. Try unticking Project Beauty & it's patches & see if the problem goes, that'll confirm if that's where your problem lies. If it is that, you could try BlackRampage's FWE + MMM + Project Beauty combo patch instead: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18173 I do notice you've got a few MMM plugins that you don't need with your FWE/MMM setup: Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.espMart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.espMart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.espMart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp As the FOIP patch that you have, Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp, contains all of those. Edit: I unchecked the project beauty mod and it's patches, same problem... Maybe I should just use the blackened patch. I just really wanted the modded guns and whatnot. Maybe they will be compatible with the blackened mod. What is confusing to me is that when I look at the downloads page for the mod, there is a myriad of options on what to download. I guess my goal is to get the FWE with the mods that are listed on the FWE website because that sounded exactly like the re-playthrough i wanted...https://sites.google.com/site/fo3wanderersedition/recommended-mods I guess a good idea would be to just fresh install and try to make it work with blackened and these mods... ideas? M48A5 Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 IMHO, you should first disable and uninstall all your mods. Start the game and play through the beginning until you exit the vault and make a save. Start adding your mods in sections, starting with the FWE mods and DarNUI. Make sure the game plays correctly and then start adding your mods one at a time, checking in game to ensure they are working correctly. You will then be able to correct any problem as it arises. tek27 Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Well from the looks of it. You've reduced enabled plugins with a merged plugin so that's not the general case. However, I'm assuming you know exactly what mod(s) are giving the exclamation point? If not try to check. I'm more than certain what ever plugins you merged is the cause of missing mesh. It's tricky but there are certain plugins that are not too happy being merged and will cause this. Even if the meshes are in the directory of the game or in a bsa file.Edit: When you do find that exact mod(s) that has the missing meshes, try to re-create the merged plugin without that/those mod(s) included. SoulReaver911 Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Have you edited the .ini file any? You can set cells and other files to load in the "background" i.e. on other cpu threads, and in my experience this has caused missing meshes and textures all over the place, even with meshes from the base game.
