P Key Causes Cursor to Pop-up

Whenever I press the p key, it pseudo alt+tab me by having the mouse cursor show up. I would then have to click on the game again to be able to continue playing. I don't know where the source of the issue lies.

Here's my modlist:

You could patch them with Wrye Bash. I have used it for 17 years and Wrye still updates it and supports it. I also suspect he was the first to make one if I recall right.

I did use BOSS for some time but now I use LOOT now instead as it seems better updated. BOSS ignores 15 of my mods that LOOT sorts as one example.

Keys in mods, with our limited keyboard might conflict with each others. Imagine 20 mod makers using the P key in their mods... Or why not even 2000 mod makers? Combine that with Enhanced Hotkeys, which is so damn cool mod that I cannot play without these days.

I figured it out. The issue was in Oblivion Reloaded. In the OblivionReloaded.ini file under [Develop], the trace shaders = 25 instead of 0. The damn thing took 25 as an input for the P key as set by the ini file. Idk how 25 was inputted but it sure as hell wasn't me.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Also, I'm too daunted by Wrye Bash to use it. Idk how it interacts with MO2, and I don't wanna go thru the hassle of fixing issues created cuz from me not knowing how to use software properly.

As for LOOT v. BOSS, I used LOOT for a bit, but then I saw some people arguing that BOSS is much better for Oblivion. Idk what to make of it. At this point, I'm just kinda going back and forth between the 2. Anyway, thanks for introducing me to Enhanced hotkeys! I didn't know it existed. Gonna be using it in the future.

Bolded parts for reference for anyone with that issue in the future.

COOOL

Well you can use how many mod managers at the same time as you want. Wrye Bash do not change anything until you do it in it. The Bashed patch is a way Wrye is alone about making and he added it in Wrye Mash 2004 for Morrowind already. What it does is adding an extra esp that makes every mod to cooperate and NOT write over the other when they get loaded in game . All Levelists and all similar stuff gets added to that esp to prevent conflicts in the first place and you can also add tweaks to that esp, tweaks that are also availble as mods by others, but why use them when Wrye Bash can sum it up in one single esp? Wrye is a genius. His software works for all Bethesda games, not only Oblivion and not only TES.

The patch do not make it self. You must make it and add or withdraw what you want in it before creating it. Its very simple to start with it as you get a suggestion what to add and not add in the first place before you make it. Creating the patch takes a couple of minutes, specially when you have such a big mod list. It will just do your game good to use it. :)

I do not know which is best honestly... LOOT or BOSS?? I know Boss ignores 15 of my mods...
