Repairing FONV - A Community Project

Hello to all current modders. I am interested in having a discussion to see if this is even possible in any way. Now I am not too knowledgeable about why this is even an issue or even if it can be fixed. In lieu of this I'm also interested in suggestions about how to install more mods for FONV.

I read that there is a problem with FONV supporting more than 120 to 150 mods because of a hexidecimal issue with the original game exe release. Alternately when I tried 3 years ago I did merge plugins, and try to cram as much as I could without causing too many issues and I had around 200 + mods installed, merged and fixed into my original setup before I noticed issues with glitches, such as textures not applying correctly, some AI issues between mods and the inability to add in any more mods.

Is there ANY way to repair the original EXE at all? Are there any repairs possible for the game through NVSE? (forgive me for any ignorance about the subject, it is why I'm asking the more experienced modders if this is possible.) I was not just adding in any mods, but if you go through there are so many textures that can be replaced, plus smaller neat mods that simply enhance the game play experience it is enjoyable to add them in.

I've practiced quite a bit with heavily modded setups, various mod managers and manual and mod manager based installs for about 6 years now. I will always install texture packs with the base games data folder and save the scripted mods, weapon or armor additions strictly for the mod manager of choice which in this case for me was both Mod Organizer 1 and 2. In Oldrim I had around 1350 mods installed, merged and packed into the game with a moderately successful setup where I could run the game for about 3-6 hours without a CTD. I ended up finishing the game and all the dlc's and extra mods I installed so that was actually successful.

In Fallout 3 the same thing with a mod numbering around 1000 or so mods, merged, manually installed without too many CTD's and ended up finishing the game and all the DLCs. I did the same with Skyrim Special Edition and managed to merge quite a few together and have a game without any CTD's although I never finished that game fully. It takes practice to put that many mods in and sometimes I simply mod the game without playing it through the full story, mostly to see if I can and I'm amazed with my eventual success in some of the games.

I know some of the better modders (creators & such) will scoff at adding in so many and this is not my goal with FONV, I simply want to see how stable I can get the game without ending up with a toxic stew of mods and texture packs. Thanks for reading.
