Pauldrons and Greaves

my silly looking mod doesn't use a different slot. these greaves are actually boots (like the falmer boots). It was a request that some people asked for me to do it. At first I wanted to upload as only modders resources, but because of the requests of some people I decided to add the feet meshes.

 

you can however, delete the feet meshes and make the greaves to equip in a different slot (there are many to choose, so that's not a huge problem).

 

btw, I'm not exactly busy tonight so I can show some preview pictures of what I think you guys could do.

I try to upload them later.

Thank you for helping with this project zemaria. I hope we can eventually get this mod running in the near future.

Unless you know some java, then nah, I'm good :P

 

I have a number of ways to circumvent the slot issue.

I think skyproc can let the user decide which slots the mod should use.

So if they find that their first choice causes a mod conflict, they can generate a new mod with a new slot.

 

or I can make a script for equipment detection, which is compatible with anything.

But that's a script and people hate those.

 

Like I said I still have some other mods to get out of the way real quick.

Bump, I'm finally done work on those two mods I mentioned.
I'll get on this next.

 

Hopefully my SkyProc isn't too rusty, and I can get this out ASAP.

 

Kai never gave permission for use of pauldrons it seems

But then again, he hasn't been on Skyrim Nexus for 4 months and hasn't released a mod besides those pauldrons in over a year.

Fortunately his permissions say we can use his mod resources so long as we credit him.

 

Looks like I have everything I need.

The rest should be easy peazy.

I'd have to give a little bit of advice regarding the Pauldrons mod.

The pauldrons the author made are not like the default game's. They're slightly larger then their normal versions, they're not aligned with each other, and many are rigged differently compared to the normal versions.
