GunnerofLife
I'm at level seven right now (yeah, just started the game; it's really good!) and I want to increase my magicka preserves. I'm playing as a warrior right now, so you guys might tell me that I don't need spells. Wrong. There are so many enemies in this game that are hard to kill in close quarter combat. Having spells will help a lot, especially restoration, destruction, and conjuration spells. However, most of these spells (especially the ones that I create myself) cost way too much magicka. A basic Skeleton spell costs me over half my reserves at the moment! I'm talking about something besides raising my Intelligence level. I'm mainly focusing on Strength, Endurance, and Agility. Is there any way to permanently boost my magicka preserves besides increasing my Intelligence level? Permanently?
AlduinWorldEater
Just to get this in here - I play as a warrior that never touches magic and still does a pretty damn good job. Then again, I prefer to play a totally in-your-face berserker type...you can imagine the difficulty there (hence why I like it so much :D ) But, to the point. Have you tried the Soul Trap Glitch? Tchos
Do you want to include cheating, such as just giving yourself the extra abilities with the console? What about probably-not-intended engine exploits, like potion stacking? You can distill incredibly powerful intelligence-boosting potions with very long durations by constantly brewing new ones after drinking the previous batch. That will give you more magicka than you'll ever need. Legitimate ways in-game? Not permanently that I know of, or not without occupying slots you might rather use for warrior boosts. However, you should look into magic items that cast spells. You can get yourself a self-recharging skeleton-summoning ring or other item, and never need to use your own magicka, because it has its own supply. ImperialMan2
There is the mentors ring in Samary tomb which increases your inteligence and willpower by 10 each or you could practice conjuration or alchemy to increase your inteligence but since your a warrior it would be difficult so if you have a lot of money(if you dont there is orcish armor in garhok mannor that you could sell to creeper if you have not already) you can go to a trainer to level up those skills. & if you want to cheat you can always use the console.
