first of all, I'm not good at English so it might be hard to understand

anyway

I'm trying edit debrispilelargeconc05 nif

because this debris has flickering issue in vanillar

turns out two texture material file? are overlapped

texture swap doesn't work so I tried to edit nif even though I don't know much about editing mesh

so I used bae to extract nif mesh file

then I used nifskope to make a distance between two texture

and when I insert edited nif in fallout/data/mesh

It works in ck tool

but in game, It doesn't work

I'm not a export so I have no idea how to solve this problem

please give me some advice

After you made the changes in Nifskope did you save the file? Did you place the file in the right location? Did you setup a mod to accommodate the change you made to the NIF?

1. yes I save the file. I close and open the file again and It's edited

2. I'm pretty sure I put it right location cause I can see the difference in ck tool

3. I disable mods and run the game but It doesn't work. most of my mods are texture mod and I check that none of my mods have mesh file that I edited

If the object is part of a precombined mesh, the changes won't show up unless precombines are "broken" or regenerated.

damn... if It's true then It's beyond my limit...

I am editing a debris pile in suffolk school so I think what you say is right

I thought editing mesh could solve this flicker problem like flicker fixer in nexus mod

guess I'll just play the game then... anyway thanks for answering both of you guys

You have to "Apply transform" in nifskope before saving.

right click / transform/ edit z value and right click/ transform/ apply

I did apply transform and in ck tool, It works just as I hope

but in game, It doesn't work...

In game find an instance of the item you are editing, open the console, try to click on it to select.

Can you select it, or do you get "non ref object" or similar because it is actually precombined ?

I don't know about non ref object

but when I click a dead body and write 'disable', body is disappear cause It's not precombined mesh

however when I click debris pile that I want to edit and write disable, It doesn't disappear

so I guess It's precombinded mesh
