volsfan8076
There was a weapon scanner mod for Fallout 3 that displayed the "hidden" values of weapons in-game. It showed things like the weapon's critical chance, max distance, or the weapon's spread. Is it possible to make something similar for New Vegas? http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8323
Gribbleshnibit8
If you are not averse to a little bit of effort, you can just port the original. It should work with no problems. To convert it load it up in FO3Edit and expand the Message section of the mod. Look for the khweaponscanmenu message form and click on it. Where it says INAM - Icon right click on the icon name to the right and choose Edit. Just delete the contents and click OK. This message form can't even use an icon, so this won't even be noticed. Now simply right click on the mod name in the left pane, and choose the Clean Masters option. This will now remove Fallout3.esm as a master file since the mod uses nothing from the base game. Close FO3Edit and click OK to save your changes, then just copy the mod into your New Vegas directory and enjoy!
volsfan8076
I followed your directions step by step but the game wouldn't launch. It didn't crash like I was missing a master during load up, but when the title screen came up I couldn't select any of the buttons and my mouse wouldn't even move around the screen without a delay of around 3 seconds. Everything went back to normal when I unchecked it from my load order.
neotropic
Im on a mod creation kick (little late in the falout bandwagon).Im sure I can get this over no problem. Just looking at the screenshots I can see what they are doing. Would be actually really easy to make. WIll look into it this weekend. Like how this looks.
