At attempt of editing of parametres of the weapon, at first gives out an error "Failed to find body mod texture '00000007ModBodyMale' for 'Caucasian' (00000019). Creating from scratch.", then as will carry, or at once critical drops out (memory can't be read/write), or will open nevertheless an editing window, but the second time any more won't allow to open, critical error 100 %. An error not ""since a birth"", worked normally earlier, has appeared all of a sudden, and it is enviably stable. Plugins not and, drops out as and at simply loaded masterfile. The question - whether faced somebody a similar problem, whether it was possible to solve it and, if yes, as? Thankful in advance for the answer, without dependence from result. Ok i tried to make my 1st mod. a silenced SPAS-12 (saw it in mw2 and i wanted it in FO3) i took the meshes and textures from FOOK2 and the sound... well i got a custom one (silenced barret m82a xD). All works fine just 1 tiny problem i added the silencer with NIFskope and all worka fine with nifskope! but when i choose to create the new static for the weapon and i choose the .nif file the silencer wont show (in GECK or the game....) the shotgun has the silencer sound just everything! the only problem is that it wont show the SILENCER! some1 pls help meeeh here a few pics for better explaining! I'm trying to make this hat brown instead of black to match the regulator duster.Eulogy Jones' Hat I'm using the exact file from the mod, opening it up with a DDS coverter to switch it to jpeg so I can color it in Gimp, then switch it back to put it in the game. The color works out fine for the most part, I figure I can always tweak it around easy enough, but the feather reappears (actually it's just curved black block, but you get the idea). How does that mod work anyhow ? How is the feather gone without editing the mesh ? And shouldn't it remain the same for me ? I'm only recoloring it. Only thing I can figure is that coverting back and forth makes it revert to the vanilla. Just need to know how to get rid of the feather and keep the brown color. sumoftwosins Posted June 2, 2010 Author Share Posted June 2, 2010 You're best bet is to open up the model (nif file) with Nif Tools. It might be possible to just delete the feather. Otherwise it will need to be edited with a modeling program, such as max. You might be able to make a transparent map for the feather as a texture. The feather will still be there, but invisible..
