ATTK Power Loader help.

Purchased ATTK loader, and I'm pretty happy with it. Been using the skyrim loader for a while because I have some bottlenecking on my cpu, which the loader helps relieve and give me back 5 or so frames.

Just wondering what happened to the page on the nexus? Was about to update my skyrim loader, and it seems to be under moderator review. (sorry if I'm not allowed to talk about it)

Just wanted to add, for the OP and anyone else having issues figuring this out:
The buttons on the right-hand side give you a brief description of what each option does. As a moderate-level computer user I was able to understand most of them based on this description, and Google for the rest. But here's a brief breakdown of what each one does:

Wait/Continue -> Wait loads the Skyrim Launcher. Use this if you use Steam features (i.e. you have Workshop mods and wish to synchronize them on startup). Continue launches Skyrim directly, the same way SKSE does normally.

Skyrim Priority -> This changes how your processor manages its operations. A higher setting means a stronger bias for TESV.exe. It's generally a good practice to NEVER set this above 'High' in Task Manager (ATTK omits Realtime, Normal, and Very Low) for anything, because the Realtime setting will provide the program with 100% of its available resources if that's what's required to keep it updated in realtime. Since games like Skyrim have active scripts and rendering happening constantly, this WILL invariably cause a CTR (crash to reboot) if your PC isn't capable of running 2 instances of Skyrim at a cool 30 frames anyway.

Please note that the above description is slightly watered down for less experienced users so if you're about to correct me and explain in-depth how cpu cycles work...please don't. That is so very much not the point here. The point is, your computer can handle Above, and probably High, but I'd leave it on Above if you didn't already know that your PC is good for High.

Programs Priority -> This is exactly the same thing as Skyrim Priority, but for all registered background processes. Active processes like an open browser may or may not be affected by this (I do not know). This doesn't matter if you're using Razer because those processes will be temporarily suspended/terminated anyway. It's safe to leave this on Low and preferred because it frees up more CPU for Skyrim without telling the CPU to do more than it is capable of doing.

Memory Options -> Unloads and re-loads portions of your RAM/VRAM to provide more continuous memory blocks for Skyrim. The effect is reduced load screen times. It's similar to hard drive defragmentation - i.e. a program is installed on your computer and if you were to look at the physical storage on the drive you'd see that it is split up into 50 different pieces. If you defragment your drive, it will re-order stored information to make the data continuous, so that your computer can load it smoothly without as many rotations (fewer rotations = faster).

Steam Options -> Specifically changes the priority of Steam, like Skyrim/Programs priority. My guess is that this is separated because of the steamoverlayui, which is the Shift-Tab overlay you can pull up containing a browser, etc. and because of friends. There is also the option of unloading Steam completely, so that it doesn't do any of the funky stuff Steam sometimes does while you're in game.

Steam Pause -> I do not know. Honestly don't. Might have something to do with pulling up the overlay UI. I couldn't find any info on this one.

Explorer Options -> explorer.exe priority. Explorer.exe is the Windows operating system's main executable. Windows, unlike Steam, cares only a very little bit whether or not you are in a full-screen application. It will still attempt to run scheduled tasks (like automatic updates or background scans) and generally make unkind love to your CPU and RAM while you aren't looking. There are some risks involved with unloading explorer.exe but ATTK and Razer both have this option and it is considered safe. Even on a CTD explorer.exe is restored in all cases that I know of.

It may not be possible to use the Steam browser without explorer.exe though - can someone confirm or deny this? I've never tried.

View Options -> Full (default Skyrim resolution/full or windowed settings), and ABW/APW are ATTK-specific alternatives. I haven't tried them personally.

Logo Options -> Self explanatory. Unload to turn off both, Option to play both, Skip to play only music.

Someone please point out if I said anything that's outright wrong and I'll edit this. No sense in giving incorrect advice to people.

Good job explaining v5.0.5 90% right on the mark.

The Steam Pause is how long ATTK will wait after loading Skyrim to unload Steam, if you have that option set.

Normal is a good setting. Keep in mind this will effect your reload time back to the desktop.

As in: you will always have to wait out the Steam pause before the desktop will reload.

Normally this would never be noticed unless you exit Skyrim right after loading.

On the other hand to fast of a setting may cause issues.

When i downloaded a free version of this program, it worked allright. Now i purchased v.7.0 and god damn it - i don't uderstand any of it. Not a single tutorial or manual. What the hell?! Two "explanation" videos on their website couldn't help me either. So can anyone please send me anything helpful, like which button to push or which file to edit? It's frustrating.
