Legendary skills earn you more perks?

Hi. :-)

When you get all your skills up to 100 and you make your skills legendary for a particular skill, when you level that skill back up to 100, do you have more perks then you had before you made those skills legendary? If so, how many more perks do you get?

If you level a certain skill to hundred and only invest 10 perks into that skill, then when you take it to Legendary you will get 10 perks back to place in other skills that you would like to perk-up even more. So, this allows for the use of what I like to call "Harvest Skills". Harvest Skills are skills that you have no use for for a certain character, so what you can do is level those skills, put perks into them, then harvest those perks to max out all your "major skills" that you have for your character. If you have a warrior, then it's possible to max everything like smithing, heavy/light armor, two/one-handed, and so forth.

That's just my 2 cents, though.

When you reset a skill through the new legendary skill system, it resets it to 15 and refunds all the perks you had spent into it until that point. It only gives you the amount of perk points you spent on the skill to begin with. But leveling still gives perk points.

The downside is you won't be able to re add those perk points to the skill until you've leveled it up back to where it was. So if you do go this route. It's better to train up a skill you don't actually use that is somewhat easy to train ((conjuration comes to mind)) to farm for points. Or relevel a supplementary skill like smithing. Because you can gimp yourself by resetting main combat skills.

Though, to be honest if you're playing on a PC this really means bugger all as there's been mods and console commands that do the exact same thing with less hassle for a while now. It's really more for the console crowd.
