Missing DLCs in the Legendary Edition

Years ago I purchased the original Skyrim Legendary Edition for PC (disc version, not Steam download). I'd like to play the game again now, and although it installs and plays without issues, all three DLCs (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn) are missing. There are a number of mods I want to install that won't work without the DLCs. Do I need to purchase the DLCs? Where can I get them? Haven't had this problem before, so any suggestions would be helpful...

Thanks in advance 263a.png?v=2.2.7

No one has answered your question yet.

Here's what dad remembers. And his memory is not reliable.

He had to find his original Skyrim box that the Disk came in. On that box, or in the packing materials, is a proof-of-purchase code.

Then he created an account at STEAM (little fuzzy here), as he may have also created a Bethesda Account. At least you can submit questions once the accounts are active.

Now, log on to STEAM to submit your unique proof-of-purchase and have STEAM validate your files; it may/should download the DLC for you. I think what it does is download the update and the DLC, depending on how old your disk is.

Something along these steps? If you run into trouble, you now have avenues of communication? GL

I think you mean Skyrim classic, i.e. the original release which was sold as a disc. LE contains the DLC by default.
