Crossfire causing face flickering when using SKSE.INI tweak

I've been having a problem with the SKSE.INI tweak that gives your character better resolution makeup and warpaints, like in "Better Makeup for SKSE" and "Battle Hardened Warpaints".

The tweak is as follows:

[Display]

iTintTextureResolution=2048

Okay, so the problem is that whenever i add that tweak to the SKSE.INI and have crossfire enabled on my system [which is always] my characters face flickers like crazy from the normal skin texture to black, like a strobe. When i disable crossfire i can use the tweak with no problems. So, is there a way to use crossfire and the tweak at the same time and why is it flickering in the first place?

I'd really appreciate any help on this because this is a problem i wanted fixed for a very long time and i can't do it without sacrificing major amounts of performance. TIA.

I know that Skyrim and/or SKSE does not play well with crossfire. I think ATI finally released a Catalyst profile for Skyrim to run with crossfire, maybe SKSE doesn't like it. I'm not sure.

But I guess I can't enjoy HD textures using the tweak. Disabling crossfire is just counter productive.

I'd just like to also add that with 2x Radeon 7970's in crossfire and the latest Catalyst beta 13.5 and 13.4 CAP that the SKSE.INI tweak is indeed causing face flicker on my end as well.

I tell ya, crossfire in this game is almost more work than it's worth when modding. Everything runs smoother on a single 7970 at 1080p, but when playing at native 2560x1440, a single 7970 isn't enough to run all mods at that resolution.

But on topic, if anyone has a workaround for the flickering face issue, I'm all ears.

I'm having this issue too, trying to set Tint display resoultions via SKSE.ini causes my character to have a flickring, black face.

Mostly just posting for solidarity and in case soemthing gets resolved, but if I find anything, I'll post back.

Running 2 Radeon 6870's in crossfire.
