Face Complexion bug. Help Needed!

so my complexion refuses to stay on the face after leaving showracemenu to try and fix it. Everytime i go into showracemenu its like the complexion reset to the 0 slider when it shows its on 4 simply moving it one slider over and back goes to the complexion i want but when leaving showracemenu it reverts back to the 0 complexion.

I know it isn't vampire related as far as i know as i uninstalled all vampire related mods and started a new save and that still didn't fix it

I have tried using using several other complexions but would want to fix it with fair complexion if i can.

i feel like i should mention that the problem is solely on my character all npcs look fine

 

 

[FIXED] So i fixed it, it was really dumb but for anyone who may encounter a similar problem my fix was reinstalling unique character then installing unique character tool and running the bat file that tool gives. Hopefully this helps someone else who may encounter a similar problem.

just spent 3days trying to fix this hopefully it cuts down the time for someone else.

First of all, please use the "Spoiler" tags (top left in the reply box menu, third button from the left) when posting large chunks of text, it avoids us fecking-up the mouse wheel trying to get at the bottom fo your post. Secondly, please first check if you didn't use a 4K facial mod. A 4K face mod doesn't agree with a 2K body and always gives the 'Black Face' problem. It's not a bug, just the result of mis-combination of mods.

right now im trying the pure which has a 4k body and 2k face

and it doesnt work im not exactly sure whats causing it.

it will stay on after leaving showracemenu but the second i reload the game and same with a new save i just tried that as well to see if using another fresh save would fix it
