MilliaHakumei
Hello all, decided to play some xcom 2 again after a long while, I'd say about a year. The last I played I had a list of mods I was using, and never had any issues whatsoever, and to top it off were not any serious game changing mods, will list them as well here:Tommy Wiseau Voice PackRed Headband (and Vasquez hers)Predator Outfits v2Monty Python Voicepack for XCOM 2MGS Solid Snake Voice PackLoad From Character PoolLifetime StatsJames T Kirk Voice PackFilthy Frank and FriendsDuke Nukem Voice PackDeadpool VoicepackDBZ Mr. Satan VoicepackClint Eastwood Voice PackBob Ross Voice PackBasil Fawlty Voice PackArnold Schwarzeneggar Character PoolArnold (Arnie) Schwarzeneggar Voice PackI have done the usual things, very integrity, disable a mod at a time, but even went so far as to test each and every mod one by one, but every single time it crashes on start up, just a black windowed screen, not responding. Game works fine if I just disable the mods through Nexus Mod Manager. Anybody have any ideas as to why this is behaving in such a way when the last time I had it installed it worked fine? My only other thought is perhaps it is crashing since it is on a different drive than I had it installed on last, (possibly was on D drive last, this time installed on my G drive, but how would the mods have already been there?) Will test this one next Edited February 22, 2021 by MilliaHakumei

MilliaHakumei
so as it turns out, for whatever reason, when I installed it back onto the drive in which it was first installed, the mods worked perfectly. No clue why installing it elsewhere would disallow it to work unless it had something to do with being on an SSD instead of the HDD it was originally on

Did you do that by moving Steam Library? I've not had problems with that in the past, although I've never moved XCOM 2.

Nah, I didn't move it from one drive to another, i uninstalled it one day, then recently reinstalled it on my other drive. Steam has each of my C,D and G drives in a spot, so it should know whats up, but this certainly was a weird case.
