grismo
While i am not new to morrowind, it is the first and only entry in the Elder scrolls series that i have played. I was wondering why it is called elder scrolls and if it is explain by playing through the first two. Is it like a book of prophecies that you fullfill in each game or just a cool name. Also, is there a possilbility for an elder scrolls 4?

inhumancreation
well he did a damn good job, if i say and i read somewhere that the "elder scrolls" were scrolls that starting everything that has to do with morrowind ! kinda like our believing in god creation, instead of evolution. VG_King
Also, is there a possilbility for an elder scrolls 4?According to Xbox magazine (or was it Game Informer...?) there are rumors that Elder Scrolls 4 will be one of the first games for Xbox 2. Just a rumor of course and sorry for those that did not want me to mention about TES4. -Had to edit this- Just found the article (yes it was xbox mag) here it is: And I quote from the xbox mag: MORE XBOX 2 RUMORS We've also heard some hints that the next Morrowind, the fantastic open-ended RPG from Bethesda, will be ready just in time for the Xbox 2. Does that mean that the system will launch with a kick-butt RPG in its stable? Well yes, that's kind of obvious. But will it be Morrowind, and will there be another Morrowind title for the current platform in the time between? Only time will tell. Just to let everyone know the editors from The Official Xbox Magazine said that. Not me. Anyone that want to know what magazine it was in it was the June 2004 edition of the Official Xbox Magazine, page 23.
DreamOfTheRood
Keeping with tradition, that means that a playable version of TES4 will be available for the computer afficionado concurrently with the XBOX2 version.
VG_King
Exactly, there is not a doubt in my mind that it will not only be on Xbox... im positive it will also be on PC.... hopefully with mods as well.
Dark0ne
If you've been following the Fallout 3 hype you'll also know that TES4 is as good as official, Pete Hines mentions it several times in his interviews.
Alexander the Great
IF you have the magazine it is very brief as said before, but it is a definite game. Who knows how far it is in productions other then the people working on it. But there is a really cool picture of an ordinator looking person in the mag. NCBeachBum
Bethesda job listing That is a job listing Bethesda posted back in June for a game programmer. The following was included in the job description: Design, create, and build worlds for future Elder Scrolls products. I think it is now merely a matter of when they'll have it completed and released. Many rumors have said 2005, to coincide with the XBox2 thing, but personally, 2006 seems much more likely to me. They're not known to get in a hurry in development.
