tacwaffles
So, I have a pretty nice PC, but I can't seem to run Skyrim without lag. I have a ton of mods installed, some of which are probably more performance-intensive like Crimson Tide and Project Reality, but it lags without any mods installed as well. The game set me to Ultra automatically, but I don't mind lowering some graphics settings to get a stable framerate. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best settings to lower first in order to get a stable framerate without sacrificing too much visual fidelity. gsmanners
My guess is that the lag is because of: Display Memory: 4050 MB Dedicated Memory: 978 MB Shared Memory: 3071 MB I wonder if you're just running out of memory on your display cards. tacwaffles
Is there anything I can do about that?
Georgiegril
Hi, I would recommend you take a look at the STEP guide, especially the first sections about setting up your graphics cards and ini files. They have a lot of good info.
