nvidia Inspector

Not sure what you are seeing, but if you think it messed everything up, it is probably that you made a change that is causing the problem. You can reset everything back to default by on the restore to default icon in the menu bar (it looks like the NVidia trademark thing).

Like any program, you can uninstall it by using the add/remove programs feature of your windows control panel.

If you describe the problem you are encountering, it may be that someone can help you deal with it specifically.

Well crap, you are right. I am very sorry.

I tried to redeem myself by looking up the official procedure, but like you, I came up with nothing beyond suspiciously malware-looking "removal" tools.

I posted a request for help on the Guru 3D forum, because the author of the software posts there. I hope it may help us both...

It may be that since the Inspector is not actually installed, but rather self-contained, all that you need to do is reset the game profile to default, then delete the files that you extracted from the zip from the location to which you extracted them.

And --quick response!-- someone over at Guru3D also says the above method should work. I hope this helps. If you have doubts still you might try to reach the software author, he does seem pretty responsive.
