CookieMunn
Hi! I was wondering if there is any faster way to uninstall everything than deleting mod for mod in the NMM?
matortheeternal
Clean out your data folder using your knowledge of what it normally looks like to remove only non-essential files. (or just delete everything and copy some files over from a backup and replace stuff). -Mator
jackowonderful
delete everything except the dlc and skyrim files, 'update' is also a skyrim file; then remove the mesh/texture/script folders.
Bugsbugme
NMM does have an "uninstall all" feature now. However, it is rather un-informative as to its progress while carrying out this task. It will simply say that it has completed when it hasn't and will continue un-installing your mods until it actually does complete the task. You will have to keep NMM open until it does so and once it is complete, all the green ticks to the left will turn to red crosses. Alternatively, you could remove everything from the Data folder apart from the vanilla files then verify the game cache with steam to make sure everything is in order. You will also have to delete the files that NMM places in the "Info" folder it creates if you plan to use NMM again other wise it will think you still have mods installed. whateveroo
A quick way that i accidentally found out was:-Open Nmm --> Settings (near the top) --> SkyrimThen change the mod directory and install info place (anywhere should do), you would only need to press one button to confirm deleting, all will uninstall now, just delete the folder where you moved them after it is done uninstalling.I uninstalled all my mods once with this (all but the official ones of-course).Or if you wish to delete the data folder way, delete all files but KEEP these:Skyrim -Animations.bsaSkyrim - Interface.bsaSkyrim - Meshes.bsaSkyrim - Misc.bsaSkyrim - Shaders.bsaSkyrim - Sounds.bsaSkyrim - Textures.bsaSkyrim - Voices.bsaSkyrim - VoicesExtra.bsaSkyrim.esmUpdate.bsaUpdate.esm-Ofiicial dlc (may or may not find them)-Dawnguard.bsaDawnguard.esmDragonborn.bsaDragonborn.esmHearthFires.bsaHearthFires.esmportal2mod.bsaportal2mod.espAlso keep:Data --> Interface --> Translate_ENGLISH (or any other language you are using)-Hope that i didn't forget anything, i am sure the above files are right and the only one you will need but i don't really remember what folders were present before downloading mods-I think anything else you can get if you validate your game files in Steam. or download a patch, so don't worry about deleting the rest.
