Issue with importing mods from NMM to Vortex

So I just redownloaded Fallout 4 and saw that there was a new mod manager, so I switched to Vortex and imported all mods I had installed with the program built into the Vortex Mod Manager. I installed all the mods like it told me to and activated them, but when I boot up the game and try to load an old save, the game tells me it cant find all the .esm and .esp files, even though everything is there.
As far as I have understood it, Vortex saves all the mods in a different folder than the game folder, and somehow deploys them into the game anyways. So my best guess is that this deployment process somehow doesnt work for me.

Sounds like you need to look in the plugins tab and enable everything?
