skyz10
Hi guys, As the title says I am building a new pc and I want to move my modded skyrim (lots and lots of mods) to my new pc .Since there are lots of mods ,ini settings plus an enb and it settings it will take a lot of time to redo everything. I will do it if I have no other choice. I am thinking of a few methods , wanted the opinion or advise of more experienced and knowledgeable people than me lol Method 1 : using my current SSD as a secondary drive (more like a drive only for my modded skyrim) on the new pc and use skyrim from there . I was wondering if that would work and if it does , what else do i need to do to get everything working well . 1 the of the issues with this method is that since I will have windows on both SSD it could some problems on boot . Method 2 : Moving my entire skyrim folder to the new ssd . Again wondering if that would work and what else I need to do to get everything running smoothly . Forgot to mention I use vortex as mod manager I am a total noob haha maybe its not possible to do those methods I do not know . If someone knows a sure way to get this working I will glady take the help lol Thanks Edited March 15, 2021 by skyz10

Make sure you copy everything to the exact same Drive and Folder as your old install Also, you will need to copy over your C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\blacktree gaming\vortex folder or C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\vortex OR your C:\ProgramData\Vortex folder (it depends if you have vortex set to PER USER or SHARED as to which folder Vortex is in)
