Random Clutter Appearing all over skyrim!

Hi there Nexus! :D

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this. and i apologize if a similar post has been brought up before.

Here's my problem; as the title states, random clutter have been appearing all over skyrim. I don't mean just Pots and Pans, but "Helmets, Blades, Pretty much anything to suit your needs" lol .

At first i didn't mind, but i realize that if more and More and MORE of this stuff appear, its gonna cause Bloating in my save game!

Eg: If i'm in Riften, i see random Rifen Guard Armor(s) and helmet(s) on the ground. etc etc.

it doesn't cause any CTD as far as i know, but i'm just afraid of the Bloating, and its clearly not suppose to happen.

I started from a new character. and the the only new mods i started using are Duel Sheath Redux (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34155) and RND {http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26228).

There is a known issue where killed enemies drop weapons and shields on death. These items become disconnected from the actor when the body is cleaned up. The USKP patches are supposed to solve this problem. However, in my own game without the USKP the items would be found in mid air at the point that they had been released from the actor. With the USKP the same items would be found but lying on the ground. The only true solution is to strip every dead actor of items before they are cleaned up.

Your last line confuses me. Are you crashing on a new character using RND and Dual Sheath?

Sorry if i wasn't clear. What i meant is, RND and Duel Sheath are the two new mods i installed when i decided to start a new character.

 

And i'm not getting CTD, i'm just worried that these random weapons appearing will eventually lead to a bloating in my Save. Hence i wanna solve it.

Thanks for posting.

 

And i know about USKP and the possessive corpse fix. The issue however, is not that dead NPC are leaving behind items, they are just randomly appearing. One corner i'll find a Banded Iron Shield, and the next corner a Iron Helm and then maybe an iron boots. And i believe these aren't intended to be loot in the first place.

 

I try my best a pick them up and place them in a dead body when i ever find them.

 

I'll try to get a pix the next time it happens.

Well, I think Ishara's point is a good one.

There is a known bug of stuff being left behind--the corpse will disappear after a bit, but the items can remain, sometimes in the air, sometimes of the ground.

Especially if you have increased your ugrids, there may have been a battle between NPCs out of your line of sight, resulting in an NPC dropping their items and then disappearing before you arrived at the spot.

What I was considering was your statement that the problem was increasing-- that seems unusual and why I was thinking it might be mod related.

 

If you try either Possessive Corpses or USKP and the problem continues, then I would suspect another mod was involved.

hmmmmm.....you have a point. At this moment everything is still playable. Hopefully i won't have to start a new game because of bloating in the near future.
