Textures are fine in NifScope but are messed up in game

both nifscope and outfit studio the textures are fine, but in game the textures are all scrambled. more specifically this is an edit to the infiltrator rifle in TTW, i want to add a fixed stock, i copy and paste the branch from a different file and it shows up fine in nifsocpe, but for some reason the magazine is messed up in game, the stocks textures is fine, making other additions or removals mess other random parts of the gun. my textures paths are fine, in fact its all vanilla textures.

the thing is, everything else has been edited or replaced, the stock, receiver, scope/silencer have all been edited, the mag is the only thing messed up.

Nah hun, there are 3 bsa archives you need to replace things in.

  • Fallout - textures
  • TaleOfTwoWastlands - Meshes
  • TaleOfTwoWastlands - Textures

With your models and textures. Do not copy "replace"

keep the same names, replace the code with yours.

Leave the functions alone.

Or use your names and edit the masters to replace your items and point to use your models and textures.

Nah hun, there are 3 bsa archives you need to replace things in.

  • Fallout - textures
  • TaleOfTwoWastlands - Meshes
  • TaleOfTwoWastlands - Textures

With your models and textures. Do not copy "replace"

 

What am i replacing with? they are the vanilla textures.

That says you have your own ? am I misunderstanding the language used ?

I have the vanilla infiltrator, from the pit dlc. i have a stock mesh from another mod, i copy the mesh branch (right click and "copy branch") from the modders resource mesh with the stock and paste it onto the "BSFadeNode" in the vanilla infiltrator mesh, thats it. i have made zero changes to the magazine, at all, none, its all vanilla, the stock that was added shows up no problem, but the magazine is all scrambled.
