crazydogx
Hi everyone, I have taken a break from Skyrim and I'm looking to come back and play a fairly moded game based around Skyre. My last playthrough had a lot of mods (ended up about 50 as most were small tweaks) but nothing too weird (ACE frostfall, a couple of lighting mods ect) allthough I did have ATTK (the performance increasing software that is now removed from the nexus). I have removed all the mods through the manager and checked all the esp and bsa files are out. I am wanting to try to get my performance up and make sure I am error free before I start to one at a time install my mods. Do I need to completely reinstall the game to make sure I am clean or is getting rid of the esps enough? Thanks in advance.Crazydogx Edited April 28, 2013 by crazydogx
gsmanners
You might want to remove the "meshes" and "textures" folders, as well. Make sure you also move the "scripts" folder to elsewhere on your drive (or just back it up and delete it). If you have an "interface" folder, go ahead and backup/delete that, as well. That should get your install plenty clean.
