Are these fixes still valid or have they all been addressed and incorporated into the latest Unofficial patches? In other words is this still useful if using the Unofficial patches. I use Mod Organizer and when I place this above the USKP it shows as redundant. If I place it after USKP would it hurt, improve , or be pointless to use? Please someone answer this.

These scripts have saved a save game on a new character!

Admitedly I have the latest UKSP, Harvest Overhaul and other mods but for about 6 months I had been suffering random ctd's, papyrus and script bloat due to obviously these scripts not behaving correctly.

And during all that time I can't remember seeing a bug or fish doing it's thing now they're back flitting about and the game is stable again!

Will try them out on other "broken saves" and report back.

Installed these with Mod Organizer and left them at the end of my load order and let them overwrite UKSP, absolute deal clincher and brilliant work mate!

Just wanted to add that I dug thru the source code and compared this with the latest USKP (Unofficial Skyrim Patch), and some of these fixes were incorporated directly into the 2.0+ USKP (includes comments specifically calling out USKP+STEVE40) so I think it's fairly safe to say USKP has this covered now!

@fadingsignal, okay, man, but please could we have more solid confirmation? I've been living under a rock for the past few years and only just found that these script fixes exist, but I would like to know whether or not they're necessary with USKP version 2.1.3+. USKP forums suggest that this Steve's scripts are no longer needed and may cause more problems than fix?

If what fadingsignal said is true, the newer USKP versions contain these patches, so It isn't necessary to install this fix with USKP. It might cause problems.

Like fadingsignal says, I'd recommend that you use USKP in preference to my scripts to avoid any conflicts. USKP has incorportated some of my fixes and added some of their own as well. I made these script fixes a very long time ago, so they are most likely redundant or obsolete now anyway. Only try my script fixes if you don't use USKP.
