advise on mods

Hey guys, just starting a new game as steam hasn't recognised any of my achievements -_- though while I'm at it I want to finally try a few mods, just a few things to make it a bit more imersive :)

So here's the kind of things I want

More encounters mainly bandits and stuff to go with my role play.

A travel system between towns kinda like the one from city to city but in real time if possible

Generally things that'll improve the immersion rather than graphic bumps, however all suggestions welcomed :)

This should probably be in the skyrim mod talk section :p

I have a mod that adds achievements in my signature, in "SkyTweak"

SkyTweak itself is useful for a lot of things, with over 200+ gamesetting options, so I hope you'll check that out too.

as for carriages:

and as for everything else, sorry immersion's not my slice of pie.

1 or 2 of the ERSO modules add in some extra assassins and thieves on the roads

realistic needs and diseases is a simple mod that is very easy to set up to suit your RP style. (you can configure the chances of getting sick from eating raw or spoiled food or drinking river water, whether food spoils, how quickly you get hungry, thirsty or tired, etc)

cooking expanded adds extra meals and it works well with RND

brigandage adds in a variety of lore friendly armours that add lots of variety to the clothes and armour worn by bandits

there are several HUD mods that remove some or all of the HUD elements (I play with no HUD at all, no compass, no floating quest markers, no health or stamina bars and fights become much better when you don't know how much health you or your enemy have or whether there are any off to 1 side)

skyrim flora overhaul overgrown makes the areas between towns and villages look wild

lush grass and trees are also good and works with SFO

skytest makes the animals a lot more interesting (if you use SFO and lush grass and trees you can easily get ambushed by sabre cats or packs of wolves)

dragon combat overhaul makes dragon fights very unpredictable

realistic lighting overhaul fixes a lot of bugs with the vanilla lights as well as adding in adaptive lighting for interiors (no sunshine coming in through windows at night, etc)

grimm's weapon replacer gets rid of a lot of the ridiculous looking vanilla swords and axes and replaces them with real looking swords

jaysus swords adds in loads of really good looking weapons

immersive armours adds in lots of lore friendly armours

w.a.t.e.r. is a massive improvement on the vanilla water

economics of skyrim has a lot of great options from adding the option to have blacksmiths upgrade armour and weapons or having mages enchant weapons or armour so you could play through without spending any perks on blacksmithing or enchanting

it also has the option to vary prices depending on where you are and who you are buying from or selling to

those are a few off the top of my head but I am currently running almost 200 mods and can't remember all of them :D
