Was wondering if someone would be as kind as to take a look at my load order, perhaps something strikes you'r eye.

Being relatively new to modding I've let LOOT take care of my load order, which hardly seems like a very good idea.

I have crashes now and then, especially around the area of Winterhold. This is most likely due to faults in my load order.

Here's something I have wondered for quite a while now... is there a certain area in a load order where mods of one type should generally be? ie- environment before armor, weapons before environment, scripted mods on top or on bottom? I generally sort my own load order, and I've noticed that LOOT will group certain categories of mods together, but will have a few exceptions. I know there are no hard and fast rules in Skyrim modding, but could someone explain why mods are separated by category and what the order of those categories might be?

I recently thought on playing the game again , add some mods and so on.

 

I of course needed to read a lot and look for my old mods to be updated.

At first I used Wrye Bash and Boss, then I tried Loot.

 

Both tools rendered my game to crash allways , mostly when I tried to Sleep/wait in game.

I reinstalled several tmes, tried other mods, reduced the list etc, allways after letting those tools (not after each other but tried them alternatively) sort my load order, the game was instable and crashed after some time or even after waiting , even standing around doing nothing. I even installed Memory patch, different tweaks (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50244/) nothing worked, so I tried to disable all Mods and reenabled one by one and sortet the mods myself. Every Mod was loading great , abnd the game behaved stable, I was surprised, because I enabled the mods as packages (allways 4 at a time then the next 4) but stayed in the way like, okay now the NPC Mods one by one, now the Village enhancements, now the Scripty ones, now the cosmetic etc. And now Im a bit confused, why is my personal load order better than the one from loot or Boss ?

My Experience now is, dont trust solely in those tools, they CAN help, but also screw you, I spend 6 days to figure this out....

Just a quick tidbit, hoping someone may help find the issue, I just recently added a couple mods to my Skyrim and now it is crashing, so I went in and removed all installed mods that I had just added and it is currently still crashing. Here is my mod load list :

omg SOOOO MUCH WRONG on this thread!

 

why are people that have INCORRECT load orders telling people to BREAK their load orders... FIRSTLY!!

secondly ::

 

Loot, then Wyrebash.. MAKE BASHED PATCH!! (AFTER LOOT)

 

then after that CHECK wyrebash says all mods are GREEN!! (also CHECK the health of your save game according to wyrebash)

 

IF by some odd chance loot as got it wrong and put something ABOVE a required master, move it manualy. ( ONE BY ONE ) BUT always try the game as loot suggests FIRST!!

 

check to see it works... SOME TIMES people add in compatbile mods as if they are illiterate...

 

NEVER put skyre and perkus maximus TOGETHER etc because they BOTH mod the SAME thing.....

 

NEVER assume you know better than Loot... Loot CHECKS details online but if you DONT READ the mod and add it to an incompatible load order... well duh....
