lilminki
Is there an easy way to find a specific exterior world location in the CK? I found a spot I'd like to build a cave in game and I'm not sure what the easiest way to find it in the creation kit is.
mellophonist
go into your cell view window which is auto loaded on start up (just under the render window) and click the drop down box. Then find Tamriel from the list if you want to place your entrance to your cave/dungeon. Or if your building the actual cave/dungeon, select interior space. The easiest thing to do from here is select the AAA marker cell and duplicate it, then clear out the duplicate cell and start building! Hope this is specific enough message back if you need help and happy modding!
artificialsloth
Download the Status mod it will give you the coordinates of the cell your in or open the console and click on an object that is near the location then in the creation kit go to edit/find text and type in the id of the object you clicked on Edited May 3, 2013 by artificialsloth
mellophonist
I think he meant where to find cells themselves, not the items in them.

Armornv
acidzebra has a mod just specifically for this. If I understand your question.Find it here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27855I use it whenever I find the "perfect" place to build my new house. Works perfectly for me.
