cactoblasta
Looks like you'll have to reinstall. To clear up those error messages when you open morrowind, start the construction set with your plugin as the active file. Then save and exit. When you next open morrowind there shouldn't be any messages. If there are, chances are the plugin itself is stuffed.
Hitokiri
Tried it, maybe beacuse i got it out of one of those Vidio card boxs? and all my Plugins do that :( :( :(
cactoblasta
If its a full version game then that shouldn't be a problem. Are you sure the copy you've got isn't pirated?

Baphomet
As for you patches not working, I suggest you uninstall MW, then search your registry and remove all the entries for it; simply uninstalling MW from the menu may not be enough. After cleaning your registry, reinstall MW. After your install, immediately do a scan-disk, then clean and defrag your hard drive before downloading and installing the patche/s. If all goes well with that, begin installing your plug-ins. As for installing your plug-ins, I suggest you read the pinned topic "How to Install Morrowind Plug-ins" at the top of this forum. Good luck.
