This instruction for viewing the map was copied and pasted directly right from the readme that it came with: How to use:-Click "PROCEED" if you want to see the map.-Hover over symbols to display area name.-Click the buttons at the bottom to hide the correspoding group of icons, so to make the map more clear. Click again to reveal them.If you want for example to view only the Metro stations, click "ALL" to hide all markers and then the Metro button "M" to reveal only the Stations.-Use the Bobblehead buttons inside the item menu to display Bobblehead markers. Hover over themfor extra info and images.=Use the Skill Books buttons inside the item menu to display skill book markers. Hover over themfor additional info.-Use the flash player right click menu to zoom in/out. Open the "text near cursor" button to view names when zoomed in.-Toggle secondary locations on/off and use "easy" button to target them easily.-Open the search panel to perform a non-case sensitive search. The readme does not in any way shape of form explain how you go about viewing this thing, it only tells you what to do after it's open. What good does that do which doesn't when you can't open it. All of that is really good but here is what happens when you extract the contents of that file and you double click it. As you can clearly see that this download is missing the program that was used to create it. As well as the instructions on how to use the tool to open it. So therefore, since it cannot be read without the tool that was used to create it, and the tool is no where to be found. Then this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this mod doesn't work, so that in turn proves the mod needs to be removed. What's your point? It sounds to me like you just don't know how to install a file like this.Ok now your just being silly by stating things that not only have nothing to do with this but make absolutely no sense.1. You don't install this file it's a double click application 2. The readme never tells you anything about installation, in fact it only says what i said above about after the fact, not the process you use to view it This picture is all the proof I need to back up what i'm saying and no one can argue against pictured proof. Skree000 Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 umm 1. lol 2. its a SWF file. The download says 'Flash map'. Its Shockwave Flash. Open it up with any internet browser 3. Additionally if you read some of the comments people ask 'how do i use this?' then they get instant replies saying what it is and how its used, for the odd person who might not know. Took about 10 seconds to flip to page 3 or 4 and see all of that info, which typically people know anyways, because SWF files are universal web files... 4. Instead of posting about how its broken, we normally just click the 'report this file' button to inform the web hosts that there is a problem. Why can't people for once, just simply except that this file is broken, and in order to view it, you need the tool that was used to create it uploaded with it. Being rude and ignorent is never a good combination, if everyone says it works, but you say it doesnt, then is it that the file is boken or is it that your doing something wrong? which is more likely? Because maybe my topic will bring attention to the mod that needs to be removed because all the proof needed is in this topic. No offense to anyone but someone would have to be a complete idiot to start arguing against all the solid pictured proof and evidence I have supplied in this topic. I also notice how everyone dodged the issue and never did anything to help, and instead tried to work around the proof. Everything I posted people keep contradicting and trying to disprove the solid eveidence I have in the pictures. Again you people constantly amaze me. All of you do realize that1. I still have the problem of not ebing able to view this map without the tool that was used to create it.2. Every did everything except tell me where the tool for veiwing this file So what did doing everything except getting the problem solved do here.......Absolutely nothing. Very Nice... DigitalEternal Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 This is no different then your 'python and blender are malicious software' bit, im nto sure what proof you think youve shown but i certainly dont see any, make sure your version of flash is up to date, open a browser and drag the file into it.
