FO4 not launching in fullscreen

after re-installing my windows 10 FO4 always launches in windowed mode

I tried several ways like bethini, prefs, ticking launcher boxes and still in windowed

It's a steam version, if u ask

Should be able to directly edit the fo4 ini file in your My Games folder.

Ok, I goofed. :) Those settings are in fallout4prefs.ini. In the display section.

Change these settings in your FalloutPrefs.ini:

 

bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

 

Change iSize H and W to your monitors native resolution. Should take care of it. :D

i'm currently not using MO2 due to this and yes they're read only

Hhhmmm... MO2 does some odd things with ini files. I don't use it though, so, not sure just what, exactly, those 'things' are. I think it has it's own copy of them somewhere else... There was another thread about this somewhere, a search might turn it up.
