Invalid Plugin

Vortex suddenly decided my recently edited ESP is no longer a valid plugin.

 

1. The ESP file is in the FO4 Data directory.

2. The CK does not see it.

3. FO4Edit does not see it.

 

How can I open the ESP in either CK or FO4Edit to try and fix any problems, when apparently both of those will only recognize what Vortex considers "valid plugins"?

I appreciate the offer, but I already scrapped it and rebuilt it, and did a better job than the first time through lol

 

However, I seriously would like to know how to open ANY esp file in FO4, not just the ones that are deployed by a mod manager. I mean what if I want to take a look at something I'm not actively using? Fix inconsistencies between two plugins that refuse to load at the same time? The way things are set up by default I can't.

 

FO4 is supposed to be an editor, it should damn well let me edit any plugin, not just whatever is currently active in my load order.
