Andrewhood64
I have been away from the game for a while and in that time, I upgraded my computer while I was away. I fixed one problem due to reading here on the forum...THANK YOU GUYS AND GALS! But I'm having CTD's at startup and when its running, the graphics are strobing when I move or aim.I have found several instances of Fallout4Prefs.ini on my computer and am curious if the ones not in my game can/should be deletedI have my settings on Ultra and it ran fine with my old MOBO, RAM, and CPU (i7-7700k).Does this game not support 3440x1440 resolution? I am not a computer NOOB but I'm sure Im not as knowledgeable as some of you here. Any help is appreciated. new computer specs:Intel i9 10900kf CPUEVGA RTX 2080 XC ultra GPU64Gb Kingston Hyper-x Predator Ram 3600MhzAsrock Z590 TaichiEVGA AIO 280 cooler Mods:Unofficial FO4 PatchFallout4 script extenderwasteland BarbJunk fencesBuild limit removerAppleseed armorKrebs AKballistic weave for everythingMCM Edited April 16, 2021 by Andrewhood64
aurreth
Start at the beginning. Go to My Games and delete the ini files. Start Fallout from Steam and go through the graphics setup. That will generate new ini files. Exit to desktop and restart the game using the F4SE launcher. See if that fixes the problem Another thing to look for is mods installing their own ini files when they shouldn't. For example Start Me Up creates a clone of your fallout4.ini file that will seriously screw up using multiple profiles. You have to manually edit out a few lines to fix it. I don't see anything in your mod list that should be doing that, but take a look to make sure.
