LarannKiar
Thanks for clarifying this robot provisioner issue. Actually, I didn't really look into that so-called "reset bug". All I remember right now is that, the WorkshopNPCScript isn't attached to robot provisioners.. instead they have the WorkshopRobotScript.. but that's unimportant now.. As for the diagnostic tool, yes, .swf files are beyond me.. :)
niston
@LarannKiar: This will be a lucky day then, because you won't have to worry about the SWF and can write your Terminal Programs in Papyrus. :D @SKK: Of course you did. Many thanks again, as that simple line you posted provided the crucial piece of info to solve the problem xD
aurreth
All of which can be done by selecting a Provisioner and then simply pushing the [C] button in the Holotape Program I've made to address this problem: Wouldn't mind a copy of that holotape, I've got a few robot provisioners starting to sandbox as well. niston
This Holotape will be included with the Papyrus Terminal as coding example No. 4.It's meant to demonstrate usage for many of the Terminal's facilities in a "real" application that actually serves a purpose (unlike the earlier, more basic examples).Hence also the Title "Example 04" of the Holotape. SKKmods
Forgot to mention an odd error condition. The Actorvalue WorkshopRatingProvisioner is actually applied by a Provisoner perk via the WorkshopParent CaravanActors alias. Why the overhead of a perk and not just set the value in script ... baffling. Anyhow I have seen provisioners "loose" the perk or keep the perk but loose the WorkshopRatingProvisioner value which affects their behaviour, but the LinkedLocations that actually drive the resource network stay connected. Its one to watch for.
niston
I see it now. I had the wrong ID for this actor value, so it always read back zero.Investigating this now.
niston
Ok. I've added a Check for the WorkshopRatingProvisioner to be 1.0. If not, Warning "V" is displayed.Turns out that of 111 Provisioners, only 2 had this AV set.Cycling their Alias Membership does nothing to this AV - Even tho the magic effect setting it *should* be applied by the Alias, like you said. Hm... What does this AV do anyways?
SKKmods
I never drilled down to see what used that AV, just that its an odd way to add an actor value that applied inconsistently. It may just be a demised/cut method or flag.
