StannieDum Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Hi, all. :) I think this is actually my first post here on the forums, but I have uploaded a couple of mods to fallout3nexus. I am now in the process of trying to upload to tesnexus but I am experiencing big problems. For the last 48 hours, I have been trying to upload a mod called 'Oblivion Enhanced'. It's a large mod (split into 2 files of 174MB and 127MB in size) but on each occasion I've tried to upload a file, the upload quits and the upload progress page vanishes (this page cannot be displayed, etc). I have tried with IE7 and Firefox, but the result is the same. I have made 10+ attempts now - with no joy! :( I have followed the instructions here to the letter, but to no avail. I notice that these instructions are now 3 years old and I was wondering if there are any updated instructions for uploading to the site? If not - I would like to suggest that the owner/webmaster might consider adding some. Apologies if there already are instructions somewhere on the site, but if so, they are not easy to find! Just to make clear, I am not having any upload issues elsewhere, so I assume the problem is not at my end. I would be very grateful if some kind person would assist/advise. Dark0ne Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 It's possible you're just uploading at a bad time when the /tmp drive (where uploads in progress are stored before being moved to a main partition) is at it's largest. The /tmp drive gets cleared every night at midnight but I noticed it was already pretty full today. I have cleared it again. If possible you might want to try uploading right now, and make sure you do one at a time! If the upload progress bar stops don't worry...as long as the page is still acting as though it is loading then the file is still uploading. StannieDum Posted February 1, 2009 Author Share Posted February 1, 2009 Thanks for your quick response, Dark0ne. :) I've actually tried to upload at all hours of the day or night (including just after midnight) as I thought the problem might have been along the lines you suggest, but the issue remains, and as I say, the upload page is disappearing as well! Let's see what happens!
