TheOuroborus
I hate Windows LIVE perhaps more than anything else in the gaming world. I'm sure it's just fine and dandy for console users, but PC gamers really shouldn't have to put up with it's intrusive nature. I'm not getting Anchorage because of it. It Bethesda wants to release it in the store or as a normal download, great, I'll buy it. But not through Windows LIVE.

evilkoal
i agree as well. if this is the only way to download it, i will be forced to acquire it through alternate means.
Thor.
I hate it as well, i tried to install fallout 3 for the first time and it was a pain in the ass, i had errors like you wouldn't believe with windows live. I couldn't play it for 2 weeks tell i had to re install windows 7 because of new hardware, then it worked Odd. And don't get me started with Anchorage that really was low, why not retail stores like EB games. Online distribution sucks sometimes, windows live is a really good example. Halororor
I hate digital distribution. Where I live we pay about $50 for an one GB cap(okay, but it includes some free landline minutes to make local calls and discount on international calls), how in the hell am I going to download games with that? Uncapped internet costs about $150. Way to much for the average South African salary.
WrathOfDeadguy
I, too, am holding off on Anchorage- and any other DLC- until it is available through some other means. I have no intention of using or installing GFWL on my computer; I simply don't like the service.
jaosals42
Of course, we can't forget it's M$. Of course they're going to do anything for money, including distribution of other companys' work (my main reason as well for not getting the Anchorage DLC). Steam was originally pretty bad (I'd know because I've been a part of it since 2004), yet while it still has it's share of bugs, it has improved considerably over the past several years. The most we can hope for is that W-LIVE gets better, less buggy, and less intrusive, though I don't know how long it'd take since, again, it's M$. :whistling: (still crosses his fingers for the DLC to be distributed through retail stores...) I do find it dumb that I can't buy an American product from an American company with American currency (as an American) I think achievement points are for seeing who has the biggest Swartz.
